Both have routes to Guatapé that leave every thirty minutes between 5:00 and 18:00.
If you have already planned your itinerary and your first stop is El Peñol, you can ask the driver to leave you there before entering Guatapé. However, it is recommended to first visit the town, walk around its charming streets, have something to eat, and then walk or take a tuk-tuk to El Peñol. It depends on what you want to do first.
